"A Place to get Away" Tree House

I think this is one of the craziest things I've ever modelled in Sketchup. This is my tree inspired by the Magic Ball Origami. The concept of this project was folding. I immediately thought of origami and how you can make complex shapes with one piece of paper. The goal I wanted to reach when created this tree house was to create a space where someone can be in their own thought, a place to get away from the world. The reflections from the translucent glass creates a magical and dreamy feeling.

This tree house was made for one or two people to be deep in thought and take time for themselves to relax and de-stress from whatever may be going on in their life.
